And as stated DON'T overtighten the 4 hold down bolts (accessed by remove ceiling grill cover). They should just be 'snug' to hold A/C unit on roof...gasket does the sealing
The reason you do not overtight the bolts is because if you have a gasket that has been compressed too much, when you overtighten, that makes the 2 drain holes in the drain pan pull down on top of the roof and blocks off the drain holes. Common problem when people tighten the bolts when they see them loose and then they find the water dripping inside. Doug
