Adding 12VDC circuits
Hello. I realize this is a very basic question, I just want to double-check before I do anything.
I have a Falcon 190 and have replaced the original electrical box with a 55 amp WFCO affair. (I know I'll never get 55 amps into that box, I did it for the additional circuits.)
If I look at that box correctly, on the 12VDC side I can run a hot wire from the box to whatever I want to power up. However, it looks as if I would rely upon the chassis for the ground. As opposed to my house, where both the hot and ground wires return to the breaker box.
I can't for the life of me figure out how it's not this way, hot from box and ground to chassis but I'd feel better checking.
Thanks for whatever attention you can give this.
