We work with the tools at hand that we can afford. The Kill-a-Watt is about $1000.00 worth of meters all in one little box for $19.95. They are consistent as far as unit to unit (i.e. two kill-a-watt meters).
Comparing them to a fluke us futile.
Mine do not read the frequency correctly on an MSW inverter. Other than that (tiny) issue, I recommend them.
