You are trying to deal with Power Analysis. Kill-A-Watts cannot correct for phase angle error in load -- the damned instrument itself cannot detect when it is being fooled.. It takes an obboard CPU to do that and sampling rates 10x higher or more.
Compare it to trying to qualify Phasor Algebra using an Abacus.
