Just figured out what boat you are running, nice rig that's for sure. With that boat and the HP you are running I don't see any reason for a lot of battery weight in the bow. If it was me I would add the weight of the battery's to the bow and take it out for a test run before I did any wiring. To much weight in the bow of your rig with the HP you are pushing it with could make for a ruff wet ride. Another thing to look at if you are fishing from the front deck in shallow water the battery weight up front could effect how shallow you can draft.
