- donn0128Explorer IILowes or home depot sell good pancake compressors. Bought a Porter Cable from Lowes this spring for about 80 dollars. It worls so well, i gave my big compressor away.
- Dakota98ExplorerI use a Porter Cable 6-gallon, pancake for both tires & winterizing. For winterizing the problem you will run into is the tank is too small & you'll need to purge the water lines 3-4 times allowing the tank to fill with air ea time in order to maintain your set pressure. Volume is more important than pressure. IMHO
- sail2livExplorerOne that can be set for 25 lbs.....I think that is what is recommended...for blowing the lines out.....too much pressure might cause more issues than ice.
- grampscamperExplorerI bought a 3 gallon Campbell Hausfeld. It's inexpensive, small and portable. It's fairly loud and slow but does the job. The air pressure is adjustable.
- Cool_CanuckExplorerStay away from the cheap ones. I had one and it took forever to fill the tires to 80 psi. Bought a Sears oil type and never looked back. I think it is 6 gal, fairly easy to carry, fits in the basement without taking up too much room and will fill a 110 psi tire without hesitation. Sears just had them on sale for something like $80.00. My neighbor just bought one.

IMHO and experience you need a minimum of 20 gallons, 60 is preferred, in reservoir size in order to safely blow out water lines for winterizing.
Once the initial bulk of the water is blown clear you need a compressor that can hold a minimum of 50 psi continuously with a tap or fixture open.
Anything less than that means you have droplets of water left in the lines that can gather at a low point and burst a pipe when it freezes. - KJINTFExplorerWhat are you looking for
12 Vdc powered
or
120Vac powered
Loads of nice units for 120Vac not so many for 12Vdc
Viair would be my suggestion for 12Vdc - Dakota98Explorer
