Actually Progressive Industries has for several years now warned against using any of their EMS units when power is being supplied by a Yamaha EF2000iS, as detailed
in this disclaimer. To be fair, Yamaha has now introduced a new version of this model called the
Yamaha EF2000iSV2 ... who knows though whether it suffers the same issue or has solved it. :h
