Allison 1000 spin-on filter and fluid change
Was wondering how much transyn fluid I wil lose when changing the spin-on filter on my Allison T1000 transmission? If I have 1 gallon on hand, will that be adequate to top off the transmission? Thank...

You’ve got plenty in that gallon to top off.. just wipe housing down with filter off and be sure to install that circular magnet back in place on top of the spin on filter...
When time comes to change fluid DO NOT let anyone pressure flush your Allison...
I order this kit when I am replacing fluid and external filter..
Two gals of Transynd is all you need..

No need nor does Allison recommend to replace internal filter unless you are rebuilding it..
