Atwood heater failure - need advise!

Go to this link. Page 6. to the right of the black Impellor housing use a long 3/8 or 1/4 inch extension or similiar metal rod about 18 iches long. Insert it to the back wall where the limit switch is mounted whack the extension/rod smartly a few times. then try to run the furnace. IF it comes ON and lights, the limit switch is bad and needs replaced. Whacking it makes the bi metal tab release and close the contac. It WILL fail again. So, replace it. Doug
