BAL Accuslide Motor replacement

2015 Keystone Montana High Country. My main slide will start and stop at least 3 times before coming in all the way. When it stops, 10 seconds later, I hear a click in the motor and then it will start moving in again. I have conditioned the rubber seals and even changed out the relays near the battery. The slide is not in any bind. The battery is fully charged. The motor has a part number of R25075. Any suggestions of best place and price to get a replacement. Also, is there a fix for the original. Thanks.

  • I had the exact same problem with our Rockwood.

It turns out that the self-resetting circuit breaker inline with the battery on the trailer tongue was cutting in and out. After I replaced it, everything was fine.

There were two breakers in parallel on the tongue. One was for the slides, the other was for everything else. So the bad breaker only affected the slide.

  • Mine will do that if I hold the switch down continuously. I think there's a relay in the circuit somewhere that protects the motor from overheating.

Just try bringing it in in small increments. Not 10, maybe 3. Listen for the motor bogging down, release switch, wait a few seconds, start again.
