Battery Cable Sizing - PD9260
After working on friends trailer last week, one item that was not addressed was the size of the battery cabling, which I believe was a 6AWG (maybe an 8AWG, not sure) for his 2001 trailer, a 26 ft mode...

The PD has a design flaw. They won't output 60A. If you want to get anywhere near 60A you need heavy cables (2 awg or better).

I'd think of upgrading the cable if the intent is to charge as rapidly as possible. For general use the existing is fine.
