battery charging

When charging (2) 12volt rv batteries through the on board converter/charger, would two honda eu2000's work any better than just using one genny to charge?
  • My Honda 2000i handles an IOTA-55 converter just fine even at the full 55A output (depleted batteries.)
  • If your one generator is really struggling and loud, then that means your charger is too big for one. In your case I doubt that's happening.

    The short answer is no.
  • If all you are doing on ac power is charging the battery, then I'd say one 2000va generator would be plenty even if you have a 100w converter. if you are running the air conditioning and the microwave at the same time, well then ...
