How can you till if it's time to replace your batteries? We have two Trojan T-105s that are about 5 years old. They are usually charged by AC but a couple times a year we will overnight at a Wal-M...

This expert read that the op said he had Trojan 105. The problem with yanking out a battery and running to a auto parts store is that if the battery is simply discharged they will tell you that the battery is no good. You can't load test a dead battery. Pay closer attention.
Oh I'm paying attention alright, Mr "Expert" ;) ... and the fact remains that the "only accurate way" of determining the condition of battery is not measuring it's SG with a hydrometer - which is impossible with a sealed AGM, GEL, LITHIUM, etc, anyway :S - load testing which can be used on all types of batteries is. :B
