Battery wiring diagram
I'm not an expert and don't claim to be one but looking at this picture makes me think something is very wrong here. I would love the resident electrical experts opinions

As hard as it is for me to believe this is something they would actually publish, I would send them an email or CAll them asap. Somebody's gonna get seriously injured.
