Sears DHP/Odyssey batteries want a 0.4c recharge rate when deeply cycled. That single group 31 needs 40 amps initial bulk current.
I had an extensive discussion with an Odyssey engineer about this. Not meeting the 0.4C recharge rate on their deeply cycled batteries will shorten life and usable capacity.
Certainly not a good solar battery
