The reason I asked about where he got the amp figures was because the controller output and a shunt (assuming it's on the battery wire) which you mentioned above will show different amps. The controller output first will supply the house and then the battery. So unless the house load is 0A the shunt doesn't indicated the controller output. Rather the shunt indicates what is going in/out of the battery bank.
