Boliy generator question

Only way to get to the air filter on a Boliy generator is remove the two side panels (4 screws each) and the rear engine cover by removing two rear bolts (13mm Head) on the carry handles, some screws on the bottom rear (I think 6), and 4 inside screws ( 2 on each end that connect to the rear cover).
The air cleaner is directly behind the battery, held in place by two 10 mm head bolts...It has a washable foam filter.

My air filter is accessed through the service door on the end cover. Don't know about your model. Maybe you can google a service manual online for your model.
I've had mine apart to replace a battery. The covers are kind of a pain but not really hard.

Removing the side covers on mine is a major tear down effort. I was hoping the filter was accessable thru the two hatch's on the sides.

I have a 3600. I don't know the exact location on yours but when you remove the side covers, it shouldn't be hard to find.
