Camper propane quick connect for grille

My camper has a quick disconnect on the outside that goes to the propane system so that you can connect a grille. After doing some reading, I see that the pressure that comes out of that fitting is "regulated pressure". When I connect my weber grille though a hose with an adaptor, the grille has very little flame, I have read that they recommend you use a grille without a regulator since the output of the rv system is alrady regulated. Anyone run into this before?

You can buy a hose with a male end for the trailer end fitting. On the other end you can buy a fitting to replace the existing Weber regulator (1/8” npt’). Just screw off the regulator and screw on the 1/8 female fitting. You may need an adaptor. Lots of examples on YouTube.

There's your answer - and pretty much what I did with the addition of a quick disconnect so I can use the hose for my fire pit too.

Not the only way ... if the OP's Weber is a Q he can simply remove it's regulator and connect it directly to his trailer's quick disconnect low pressure fitting. He just needs a hose with a fitting that will match the Q's gas valve input and at the other end a male quick disconnect fitting that matches his trailer's female quick disconnect. Thousands if not tens if not hundreds of thousands of RV owners have done this mod and it works just fine.
