Changing Batteries: F-350 Powerstroke 2005

Okay, I'm stumped, and I'm sure it's much easier than it looks. However the battery on the driver's side seems to have a larger plastic cover over it that is clipped, locked, or bolted down over the top of that battery. It wiggles a bit, but I sure can't figure how to remove it so I can change out the battery.

Passenger side -- appears to be quite simple, like a normal battery mounting. Any ideas or suggestions? Ford User Guide is no help.

thanks to all you experts.

There are slots around the cover in these slots there are tabs that need to be released using a screw driver.
