Don't know about China but you can get any level of quality you're willing to pay for in Taiwan. Taiwan is not China, not even close.
True but they've different countries. Taiwan is a democracy and US ally. We all know about China.
I worked for a company that manufacturered parts in Taiwan for 15 years and there is no difference in quality if you're willing to pay for it. For the most part, materials like steel or billet aluminum are actually more expensive in Taiwan but the labor cost and overhead is much less even afteryou pay to ship it here. But a lot of companies bailed on Taiwan and went to China for lower cost and in the process unfortunately educated the Chinese on how to manufacture. Now if you want to argue everything should be made in USA that's a different discussion.
