When I did my grill, I had the advantage of buying the male QC coupling from an RV dealer who told me about the two, and even sold me one of each with the promise of a refund when I brought back the one that didn't work.
Thanks for that info naturist because wasn't aware that there were two types. I was wondering about the air connects since they're so common but wasn't going to use them unless I could verify without doubt that they would work.
My camper doesn't have a quick connect port right now so I have to plumb one in. I'll buy all of my quick connects from the same supplier so I know they'll all be the same.
