Every year or two that is what I also do. - garysolExplorerI finally sold mine on Craigslist and purchased a Weber. The Coleman was a huge pain in the donkey to clean after every use. The Weber is much much easier for me to keep clean.
- NYCgrrlExplorerI use toothpicks/bamboo skewers/ thin gauge wire/metal skewers/baby bottle nipple brush and/or pipe cleaners to clean the..manifold(?)/nozzles of my white gas stove. Bet it would work for a clogged gas line as well. Canned air is your friend too.
I take my stove apart to clean it annually because well winters are boring here;). - kmbeltExplorerI use a wire wheel on my drill to clean my stainless burner tube on my weber. Cleans the holes right up. Not sure if it would work on a roadtrip as i've never seen what the burner tubes look like.
- IAMICHABODExplorer III use my Welding Tip Cleaner of the proper size to clean out the sludge in my Weber burner tube.
- Ron3rdExplorer IIIWeber user here, but what I do is wire brush it first, which can plug some holes. Then I clean the holes out with a small needle. Pressure washer would work too just fire the grill up afterwords to boil off the water that will get inside.
- Super_DaveExplorerAnyway to add a deflector/diffuser plate so that the drippings don't directly hit the burner?
- Gene_GinnyExplorerI have the old model and never had a problem with the burner itself. It is only about 8 years old.

Before a trip I line the drip pan with foil. When I get home I take out the foil and cold grease and throw it away.

Have both the Coleman Roadtrip and Weber Q. Both have the same problem. I use a wire brush to scrape off any excess and then get a needle and go through every hole.
