Discount Tire add on insurance
Pricing new TT tires. Dicount Tire offers an add on protection plan of $16 per tire. Is it worth the additional cost?

Is it worth it?? I guess that depends on whether or not you have a serious tire problem. Kinda like fire insurance. Its only nice to have when the house is on fire.
I just bought 4 new tires at Discount. They added in the warranty and, for $60, I didn't quibble. I had the same warranty with Tires Plus and used it to replace a $250 tire on my truck that experienced sidewall damage. I had another tire that developed a sidewall bulge and brought it back for replacement. Unfortunately, my Lifetime Warranty was only four years, Tire Plus's definition of the tire's life so no free replacement. YMMV.
