Discount Tire add on insurance
Pricing new TT tires. Dicount Tire offers an add on protection plan of $16 per tire. Is it worth the additional cost?

Discount Tire has always treated me fairly. I do get the warranty also and have used it once.
I mentioned a cracking issue on one set of tires and of course my wife heard me speak of it and you know where that goes.....When I talked to Direct, the pulled my car in and did a complete dismount, inspection, remount, rebalance and assured me (mostly my wife) that the tires were safe and sent me on my way at no charge....they could have easily made an issue of it and sold me a new set of tires.
