If your HVAC connection can get you a squirrel cage with a belt drive, it is easy to replace with a 120 V motor. The other thing is that some induction motors can be wired in either voltage. If I was closer, I could probably hook you up to a cast-away. Heck, I have new motors in boxes still.
Recovering from surgery--I know the drill, I was down for awhile last Fall. Take care and take it slow. Wishing you the best.
