I would like to be able to do this test after our TT is past the warranty.
Another fan choice would be an inline duct fan like in the pic. It looks like maybe an 8 or 10" size would be needed and can be bought on ebay for around $150 - $200. Fantech and Soler & Palau are well known brands but there are lots of generic ones for less. Soler & Palau specs are here. Inline fans can be controlled by an ordinary speed controller. I can see making up something similar to the Sealtech unit with an inline fan.
What to use for a manometer?
With a heated underbelly, isn't air going to be blown back through the furnace into the underbelly space? Would it help to temporarily disconnect them? We have a couple of rather large holes in the floor for the underbelly ducts(2) and a 4" duct for the living area space and I can see a lot of air being lost there.
