Do battery cutoffs and auto-reset breakers ...

...fail in such a way that they reduce battery capacity? I put a brand new battery in my rig but this morning 20 minutes of furnace dropped the voltage enough that the main circuit breaker tripped ...

Ok first how much battery did you put in?

The main breaker Tripped and reset? Is it a self resetting thermal type and how big. That should not happen unless it needs replacement.

Please give us a lot more info

Battery type and size (IE: Group 24, Pair of GC-2, multiple Group 29s, MARINE/deep cycle

Breaker type and size.
