Dometic Awning Part Numbers and Changing out Arms

For some reason when our Coachmen was built they put "basement" hardware (part number 8951001.400B) on. This means we don't have the ability to adjust for rain and the angle drops so much the door rai...

I took some data I found about how far a standard vs basement drops when fully extended and drew this. So I think Dometic is correct that I should have had standard not basement arms.
