Dometic Fridge Won't get cold .

Not necessarly, normally in a fridge the coldest part is the bottom, getting warmer as you approach the fins at the top, which by the way is why they are at the top.

Are you kidding me?????? Where do you come up with this nonsense??? The Thermister would be HANGING and not touching the solid surface. The Air in the refer will NOT be anywhere cold enough to cause the Thermister to sense anything but warmer and call on the refer to continue cooling. EVEN if it touched the plastic areas, those are way warmer than the FINS. The COLDEST part of the lower refer are the Aluminum FINS. The air circulating OVER those fins is how the cold is transmitted(heat removed) to the refer. The Fins are usually 10 degrees COLDER than the refer temp. So, if your items in the refer are at 38 degrees, then the FIN temp will be 28 degrees. The Thermister does NOT respond to actual refer temp but the COLDER section of the Fins. Doug

Thermister NOT touching the fins would cause a TOO COLD condition. Repost when it does not work. Is your refer in a slide room? If so, the odds are, the rear cooling fan is NOT operating. The freezer should be below 10 degrees. IF it does NOT even get to 32 degrees(freezing), the Thermister is NOT your problem. Doug

Yep! Most likely. The thermister sends the message to the control board to help regulate the cooling.
