Dometic Sealand 110 Toilet

I own a 2007 26' Springdale TT that came with a Dometic Sealand Traveler Lite 110 toilet that has been giving problems for the past 3 years, so decided to replace it. In checking with my local RV dealer and online I see that the 110 model has been replaced with the 310 series. Since the bathroom in the Springdale is very very tight I need to be sure that the specs of the 310 (drain hole placement, bolt hole placement etc) are the same as the 110. I tried another toilet model that said the specs were the same as the 110 but the design of the toilet was such that when installed there was more space between the back of the toilet and the wall (which was fine) but this moved the front closer to the tub which caused real knee problems. Had to return this toilet. Has anyone had experience replacing the Dometic Sealand 110 with the 310 model? Thanks for any info.
  • took around 20 minutes out and in to change it Love the higher seat. POS of seat that came with it hit the dump and I modifyed my old wood? to fit. Had to fool around with the anti syphon thing too. Afterwards I found that Dometic has a wood seat available
  • Meant to get back on my replacement of the 110 toilet model with the 310. Install was very easy and the 310 model seems better built than the 110. It fits my Springdale bathroom fine except for one small problem. The 310 is slightly higher which causes one vanity drawer to not open fully; it hits the toilet seat. So we will just have to reach into the drawer thru a smaller opening. Will not be a big problem.
  • Dometic 110

From centerline of floor flange to backwall--------11"
Form centerline of floor flange to sidewall(s).....11"

    Dometic 310

From centerline of floor flange to backwall--------10"
Form centerline of floor flange to sidewall(s).....11"

SO the 310 will fit on floor flange
Question is will the overall length of bowl/seat fit current space?

    Bowl/seat-----------19" from back to front
    Bowl/seat...........15" wide
backwall to front of toilet base......14.75"

    310 should replace the 110
  • Why not just rebuild it? They are so simple rebuilding is really a no brainet
