- Dave_H_MExplorer IIthanks for the post RJ. I just ordered one.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerNot inexpensive for a US company to import merchandise from China, warehouse, it, advertise it, and ship it. Too many cases to list here, same item exactly molecule pr molecule identical, 5 to 10 times as expensive.
But you do have recourse. If one of these resold items burns you out of house and home you may have the satisfaction of paying attorney fees to tender a lawsuit and seeing the company declare Chapter 7. That'll show 'em. - mena661Explorer

Not the OP's question at all.
If you want a good, reliable, accurate and quality digital LED panel-mounted style voltmeter and that is made in the US of A, - myredracerExplorer IIIf you want a good, reliable, accurate and quality digital LED panel-mounted style voltmeter and that is made in the US of A, you can get one from Datel. Service is excellent and you can actually phone them and talk to someone. You also can be assured it is CSA or UL approved.
I bought a two-wire voltmeter from Datel a couple of years ago for a previous TT. Not cheap at $50 compared to the offshore ones. If an offshore seller sells them for less than 1/10 the cost of a US company, what does that say about quality?
They have a plug-in voltmeter that would suit an RV. - MrWizardModerator
Some of those sea containers coming from China have tons of merchandise that goes unsold...it's cheaper to dump it wholesale then to ship it back to China.
That's why Dollar Stores are successful.
Yes that's correct
However the OP question was about single item purchased, and shipped individually from China
Meaning the China seller is making pennies ? Per item ?

Its from China. And it's not exactly a brand name that controls the quality. That doesn't mean it won't work. I bought 15 flat panel 48 LED bulb replacements for my trailer last year for $21 including the shipping. They've been great so far.
can you make a clicky link for where you bought those? - RJsfishinExplorerYep, like you never bought MIUSA stuff that failed ?
And if it was a cheap one, why dint you buy 2 or 3 or 4 ? I used to do that,....I have 4 brand new solar controllers, and a bunch of voltmeters laying around here, some of which was extras in case of a failure, and some of which were.....just cuz they were cheap. But still battin 100, I ain't doin that no more.
In reality, this ain't good for the US, but we hardly have a choice anymore.
I still wonder how they do that.Dog Folks wrote:
I don't wonder. You get exactly what you pay for. Bought a cheap one just a couple weeks ago, it did not work when I needed it and was 30 miles, one way, from the store. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerLove honorable image of IC timers
