Electrical Guru’s Help? Need to reroute rear AC separately!
I have 30 amp service with a factory Intellitec ECC EMS unit (energy management system) that will share the amps usage when it starts to max out at ~30 amps. I have a 5500 K Onan generator which has a 30 & 20 amp circuit breakers that goes to my transfer switch before it goes to my panel box.
Question: I would like to make adjustments so when the outside temperature reaches above 95 degrees, to be able to run the rear AC separately so my EMS will not share the rear AC off line. I plan to run the system the factory set up most of the time, but also have an opportunity to run the air conditioner on its separate 120 AC source from the camp service pedestal when needed.
Normally I would make a connection set up at the 20 amp source at the generator before it goes to the service panel, but in my case I don’t know how it will affect the electronics concerning my EMS. I would like a safe and correct way I could engineer this project.
Thank You in Advance for all who give suggestions with my dilemma.
