X-2 on......TROLL !!...:S
*If* the OP is serious.....he/she should have had enough feedback to realize....there *IS* an exception to the old saying, "there's no such thing as a stupid question"
Time for the Mod/Admin to "get the hook"..:W
. - HarvardExplorerMake sure you have a shop vac running to collect all the smoke. You may be able to stuff some of it back to where it came from.

- markchengrExplorer IIWay back in the 50's I drove a tow truck in the frozen Michigan winters. We used 24 volts to jump start cars in extremely cold temps. I would NEVER try that on a modern vehicle with all the electronics. It would likely cause catastrophic damage. -Mark.
- 3_tonsExplorer IIIYou’ll likely experience a severe case of Morning After Sickness...
3 tons - ndrorderExplorer12V devices including converter/inverter may be damaged. Fuses should be OK as anything that can handle 24V will be drawing less current to get the same wattage.
Automotive fuses are usually good to 32V before arcing occurs. Don't count on the fuses to protect sensitive 12V equipment from 24V. - pianotunaNomad IIIYou may find all the 12 volt computer boards will need to be replaced. LOTS of magic blue smoke.
The reverse polarity fuses for the converter will fall on their swords. DAMHIK - LwiddisNomadLet us know how the magic smoke smells...probably like money burning.
OP needs to do some heavy duty reading on RVs. - The magic smoke comes out of most 12v items long before 24 volts.
A few items may survive but I would not count on it.
Please post how the experiment works out....
