EV Charging station & RV use

Why would you wait to park in your reserved spot at your condo?
Why would you get up in the middle of the night to unplug after two hours? Splurge and let it charge ten hours.



Imagine how clean the air would be when this jam of vehicles is all electric. BTW EV is very efficient in this type of traffic.

People who live in apartments or 19th floor condos and work where the thought of a charging station varies between ridiculous and absurd, are going to need REMOTE charging stations. Ever price LAND in a heavily urbanized area?. A two hour wait to recharge? Instant access?

I'd laugh except double digit IQ drivers are seriously thinking that "somehow - someway - it's all going to work out"

Existing panels are probably fine. I assume a condo is separately metered. Just add a 20 amp or 30 amp 240v circuit to each panel and plug the cars in.

BTW, according to a 2014 study there were then more than 1.3 million condominium residents in Ontario. More than 10% of Ontario’s population live in the approximately 600,000 residential condominium units in Ontario.

The GTA would disappear beneath a curtain of solar arrays if only a small portion of those EV’s were charged that way, and I can’t begin to imagine how big the storage batteries would need to be in order for those solar arrays to collect enough power for an entire condo full of owners to charge their EV’s overnight because their cars are at work during the day when the sun is out.

High population density areas like New York, Miami, most of urban Europe would have similar issues.
