The seller said it has foam between the two fiberglass shells. I don't know if he knows that for sure, or was guessing. I imagine that foam would all be full of mold, but that could be ok if I caulk all gaps? Ideally, when it is dry...
The donor van is a complete mold pit, inside. Water is coming in somewhere. But that could just be from the missing ceiling fan O_o.
I asked the fiberglass guy who would do the transplant, TWICE, if the age was a problem. He said definitely no. But he has not seen this specific top. He would be traveling to do the transplant, so I don't feel I can ask him to come just to look.
