My son-in-law has a Mitsubishi "Mighty Max" with a bad carburetor. Getting him a Tomco rebuild kit cost me $60 parts, shipping twice and import tax.
Overnight disassembled in carburetor dip (parts basket) followed by immersion in boiling water followed by meticulous passage cleaning with a rubber-tipped blow gun (a real one not a OSHAJOKE) at 120 psi, is the only really reliable way to prep a really dirty carb for a rebuild kit. Oh how many times have I applied 120 PSI to a Carter Thermo-Quad to find a blocked passage then a Ptui hiss as the passage blew open...
Mouse milk may or may not work. It depends on how gooey the varnish is.
