"Salesman Switch"
How can you folks live with ticking time bombs like that? RV manufacturing has gotten stupider and stupider. If you MUST have a dash switch to cut off interior coach power go to eBay and search for
40-amp DC DC solid state relay
Buy FOUR they're cheap. Two for spares
Buy (2) solid state relay HEAT SINKS
Use white thermal grease to mount relays to heat sinks
Parallel two where a single mechanical relay was. Two heat sinks two relays
The relay connections are all SCREWS no soldering. A 15-year old kid could do this job right.
The result is a relay that robs scant milliamps from the battery, has scant milliamp drop across the relay years down the road and EIGHTY AMPS capacity.
But why stop there? For an extra twenty bucks ditch the dash switch and control the on/off with a wireless relay controlling the solid state relays. That way after riding the escalator from the the front door down to the ground you reach into your pocket and punch the "Off" button saving you a trip to the dashboard. God forbid you should ever have to actually open a hatch and (gasp) grasp a battery switch knob and twist it.
