Exploding? This is why battery switches are not placed in the same compartment as the batteries. Allow me to be even more sarcastic than usual...
How can batteries gas? The garbage OEM uses undercharges so bad if a cell bubble ever appeared it would be worthy of a brass band and drinks on the house.
The switches were installed to make the rig look and operate more like a rolling condominium than a vehicle with wheels.
The WFCO info I secured on the internet is an example. Does it provide charge curves? No. It is a summation of a plug n play lifestyle. The brochure looks like a travel advertisement for a mountain RV resort.
The complexity and fragility never mind bad engineering of many newer rig electricals is discouraging. Imply to the RV dealership salesman that your new rig is bound for boondocking and behind his mirror sunglasses his eyes will flash with contempt. "Park this beautiful piece of designer glory - in the weeds? Pearls Before Swine!"
It's a cruel joke. I can only wonder when some high-end rig comes out with a bidet in the bathroom- with a small LED TV in the wall. Anything to do with the electricals that would provide more reliability would be impossible. But the chandalier over the dining room table will self-lock should the ignition key be turned. Wotta hoot.
The air inside one of these puzzle palaces is so full.of FOMALDEHYDE from plastic resins it would trivialize Frankenstein's lab. Enough carcinogens to give the unborn a third-eye. But let's not speak of that! Now take a look at the massaging bed.
Common sense has gone out the window.
End of rant. Let's wait for the next installment of design idiocy to make an appearence on the forum...
