I would hate to know how many thousands of dollars are tacked onto the price of a new rig because of useless garbage. How many batteries ya think have turned to scrap because a rig owner flipped a a switch believing it isolated the batteries then returned to find trade-in cores?
Energy management systems that SHOULD alarm before shutdown but don't. Battery banks that SHOULD be mounted on pull out racks with ball bearings, but aren't. Twelve cent battery monitors with ZERO provision to upgrade. Hyper expensive solar panel option but still the monitoring is twelve cents.
I'm still glad I did my bus from scratch. Everything still works - after being to the Panama Canal twice and not returning to the USA this century.
