Gas question

Sometimes I get bad gas, sometimes I get good gas.

With a barrel of oil being so cheap, it it going to make adding ethanol to gasoline a cost prohibitive idea with so much surplus gasoline available for so cheap, compared to corn made alcohol? Thinking about my little honda Eu1000i generator, and how much it hates alcohol in it's carburetor's jets, with varnishing and all.

  • Have never got bad gas. But I only buy from name brand stations that do a lot of business. Lucky? Maybe.
  • Not sure where (what altitude) you are having troubles but W/ my generator I try and use mid grade or up. Also as mentioned sea foam is a good additive but do not over load the mixture with excessive additive. JMHO
  • gas is only low in price because the oil company wants it this way , don,t worry $5.bucks a gal is on its way. its all politics. put a little sea foam in the gas and your water and gunk will be gone.
