if your generator is stinking while operating, something might be wrong with it?
My Yams stink and smoke a little during the first minute or so of operation, but that goes away. Only once did I get too generous with the Stabil mixture and it had to burn through a smokey tank of gas.
oh, how about a platform for the generator that attaches near the top of your ladder. then your "stack" only needs to be a foot or so to "clear" the roof
