Generator not getting power

A couple of days ago my Onan 4K went click, click, click when I pushed the start button. That's it. It didn't start and seems to be receiving no power. It had done this same thing a few days earlier. Then, I traced it to loose power connections on the genny compartment wall. Once those were retightened, the issue was gone. I did recheck those connections again, as well as those on the house battery. The house battery is new and charged. What should I check next?

    Will your drive engine start ?
    Some generators are wired to the chassis battery

    You might want to check your cables also as they can get corroded inside the insulation and go bad. You mentioned that you tightened the ground connections, but did you also clean them? If not you might want to do that also. JMO

    charge the house battery just for fun, thats the very first thing in line ,might double check your ground connections.
