As for your actual question, I'd hook up a test piece of gear that, if it doesn't work, you haven't destroyed anything valuable.

It will probably run your stuff just fine.

The generator is not built in, and I know it is loud. In time I plan on getting a Honda EU2000, but for now I have the Gentron and we are going boondocking in a few days.

I hope by 'came with' you don't mean built-in! That's a bottom-of-the-line contractor special. You'll be lucky to even hear the TV with that running.

In your shoes I wouldn't even use it. Get a Champ, Honda or Yammy and sell the G to a contractor.
