Do yourself a favor with the cat. Freeze a blue ice bag. Wrap it up and stick it in the cat's sleep box. Introduce the cat to it. You'll have to do this several times so the animal associates the sleep box with cool. It'll work for several hours.

You folks are expecting Space Shuttle technology with rock bottom RV selling prices. Stretch as you might, the two will never meet.

You all are making me very happy I bought the PT 50c for my new 5ver. I really got it because I left my pet in the rig with ac on and the breaker tripped at pole (guessing low voltage in this old park). Very angry. Found pet was ok but am hoping the 50c would have cut power and restored it when voltage came back. Thoughts? Regardless cat will not be alone in heat again.

Im in Puerto Penasco Mexico right now hooked up with the 30 amp EMS. There is no way I would ever go to another country, let alone the USA without it.
During the day voltages are normal, at night it seems to creep up to 126 volts. I would hate to see 5 or 6 rv's AC cycle off at the same time and get a 140 or more spike.

Here's one post ... We've been RV'ing pertnear 40 years and have never had an electrical problem but have had a PI EMS-HW30C in our last 2 RV's. Wouldn't leave home with out it.

Yep, those are the ones that are on here all the time asking how to fix this or that equipment never having any idea that the equipment prematurely failed due to power problems that were not severe enough to notice. This is especially true for air conditioners prematurely failing.

I have the PI EMS-HW30C hard wired into mine. It has saved us from low voltage many times.

I'm a member of the EMS cult......"don't leave home (or stay home) without it."

Two times saved this year...

Stayed at my friends place for a couple of nights, hooked up the EMS to his extension cord and found reverse polarity. He had miswired the cord when he replaced tbe plug. We have been out on this trip for 29 days and this is the fourth
time it has saved me from a problem.
