Great new electrical connectors

I've been trying, painfully to splice a new 120V line into an existing line with very little slack and in tight cramped quarters under the sink. I finally decided to swing by HD to see if they had better connectors for a 3 wire connection and found Pushin 3 way

And are they great just push the skinned bare wire end into the connector and it locks it down. Keep these in mind if you are doing any wiring work. They come in 2, 3 and 4 way and maybe 6 way but that may be 2 ganged 3 ways. Works on 12 gauge and 14 gauge Romex.
  • Will add that the connectors allowed to be buried in the wall contain the outer jacket and conductors within one case, not individual ones.

They use the same style of jab in connector terminals on some switches and receptacles. Less then desireable connection.
Rated for different gauges of wire but may not work well with small and large wire.
I believe these are rated by code to allow to be covered in a wall without a J-box. In essence rated same as continuous wire by code.
  • I have used the In-Sure connectors for a while now for low voltage and electrical connections. They have worked perfectly in all situations so far. They hold tightly and are so easy to use.
I have just recently started experimenting with the WAGO Lever-Nuts and so far have nothing but good things to say about them. You can go on WAGOs website and request samples if you want to play around with them.
The one thing I like best is being able to see the connection and know it is completely made between the wire and device.
  • I've been looking at the Wago Lever-Nuts, they have a small lever to lock the wires in place.
I'm debating if I want to try them on some projects.
They should be convenient for tight spaces.
Keep us updated on how well yours work.

  • Been around for several years. They work but I prefer a nicely hand tightened wire nut.

These connectors have a very small contact area of metal to conductor.
  • I saw those couple of months ago. Glad to hear they work! TY
