group 24 & 27 batteries ?
My new trailer came with a group 24 deep cycle. I'm considering adding a 27 in parallel. Any problem combining the two?

I suppose one will run down before the other will...
Probably the only issues will be when you are charging them at the same time. They won't charge identical and that may cause you some performance problems...
I run three each Gp24 12VDC general issue INTERSTATES... I'm getting a good 250AHs capacity out of the three... Hold me good for the things we want to run off the battery bank until 8AM the next morning. Then I fire up my 2KW Generator and run my on-board PD9260C Converter/charger and using the smart mode charging I can get my battery bank from its 50% charge back up to its 90% charge in a quick three hour generator run time...
If the two batteries work against each somewhat the best battery being the GP27 will most likely be drawn down to the GP24 battery performance wise...
I personally would try to keep the batteries the same type as well as same age... i.e. buy two GP27's for the Trailer and keep the GP24 to stay in the truck bed to help support things as needed...
