I have also read that you can try pressurized air. There would be no toilet pipe filling up, just air. I would not suggest you start with 100psi. If there is liquid and a solid plug, the air might help find the way through. Start slow with this one, but if you have a compressor and a hose that your can fix to your air nozzle, then push down into the toilet and see how it gurgles.
