When you feel the mound squeeze it between your fingers until it gets smaller. This has never failed to work for me.
Can you put the link to your video? I'm not sure I could reach down that far since I know I pushed the mound all the way to the bottom already, but it's worth a shot. My wife is asking if I'm willing to get a compostable toilet now and the answer is "yes" :)
