Hey everyone I really need some help!!My travel trailer I just recently bought a shore power isn't working. Its an aplenlite. It worked the first night we plugged it in. Then went back in a couple days later lights were dim... Batteries are charged now. New cords. New plug. House power works. Check gfis. What possibly could it be?????? Any help would be so appreciated even if we have to start all over. Owner assured us everything worked great. Tried it all out and then got home and Now were having problems. Please help. Thanks.

I read your post 4 times but could not determine what exactly is not working now.

I have no ac power to my trailer. But have DC power.

I would check to see if ac power gets past the new cord and plug and the hot side is still the hot side.

Check for power in and power out. Defective transfer switch could be the issue.

I assume we are talking about a 30amp systyem. If so make sure the black wire on the camper end of the cord is hot. The white is neutral and the green is grounded.

Freedom 458 series combination inverter charger model 20 is what exactly we have.

Those fuses are actually for the 12VDC side of things. His problem is with the 120VAC power.

I once hooked up through an adapter to an outlet at my shop that was wired reversed. Part of my ac would not work in the camper.

Do you actually have an "inverter", or a "converter". An inverter changes 12VDC power to 120VAC. A converter which is more common converts 120VAC to DC voltage and provides power to the lights and charges the battery.

Did you check the breaker at your power source, where the cord is plugged in?

my converter has 2, 30 amp fuses that are separate from the others. Check them and replace even if they look good. Sometimes looks are deceiving.
I would also turn off all breakers completely one at a time, then turn back on.
