I cannot find butted-seam butt connectors at Del City . net anymore. I am NOT going to pay nine cents each in bulk for a (to me useless) brazed barrel or solid barrel butt connector. SPECIAL! ARRUMNUIM SOLDER BUY NOW MAKE HAPPY WITH YOU!
I used 1,600 terminals of all types last year. Yes, a hundred sixty dollars, plus, matters. Going to MPJA right now and purchasing a 5 lb roll of Sn 60 before some jackass tries to corner that market. The reason why solder costs so much now is China. Not the lead, the tin. With the DEMAND for no lead solder the price of regular solder should have slumped. Ha ha. Speculators. I run into them very occasionally. I grossly overcharge them for repairs with clockwork precision.
